The multi-million dollar plan for an east El Paso sportspark is headed for extra innings. County leaders pulled out of an improvement plan with a California company. County commissioners say Big League Dreams Incorporated took too long to come up with a sportspark improvement plan. Nearly $10-million had been earmarked to improve the baseball field complex. County leaders are now considering other options.
