Wednesday, July 14: Tanner Gore meet Matthew Lopez. The two will be paired up in Thursday's Junior Match Play Championship Match at Coronado Country Club. On the girls side, Michelle Provenghi will take on fellow Coronado T-bird Lorencia Duran. Provenghi pulled off the biggest upset with a win over top seed Mary Morton, who had been cruising along, easily defeating her opponents. Gore defeated Coronado's Julian Ybañez, 4 & 3. Lopez defeated #1 seed Arturo Cardenas, 3 & 1. The Championships matches will tee off at 8:00am on Thursday at Coronado Country Club.
