A woman has filed a complaint with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission against the On the Rocks Bar & Grill in far East El Paso.
That's the bar where two men attended a party before leaving the bar and dying in a car crash on Sunday morning.
A woman who told us she was at that party claims that the bar was serving the two men even though they were intoxicated and that alcohol was being served after the 2 a.m. closing time.
We spoke with the On the Rocks owner, Frank Romero, and he said, "We have deputy sheriff's working from Tuesday through Saturday. We have had deputy sheriffs working with us for over a year."
"We do not sell alcohol after 2 a.m." Romero said. "Last call is at 1:30 a.m. and I stop selling liquor at 1:45 a.m."
The TABC says it may take several weeks before they complete the investigation, we will keep you posted with the outcome.
