The debate lasted late into night but City Council has voted on the city impact fees.
Council voted about 30 minutes ago to approve passing the cost of water and waste water fees to developers.
The city impact fee, however was not approved at 100 percent. Instead, developers will be responsible for 75 percent of the cost.
That means the cost to build homes will rise by approximately $1500 dollars per home.
Council was split on the issue and Mayor Cook broke the tie.
The fee goes into effect Wednesday.
