A Dona Ana County teenager was nearly three times the legal alcohol limit when he was shot and killed by a deputy in Mesquite three months ago.
According to an autopsy report, 17-year-old Nick Dominguez was shot six times and he also had marijuana in his system.
Deputies say Dominguez was part of a group that stole beer from the Mesquite Mercantile.
Dominguez allegedly attacked the deputy and tried to reach for his gun before he was tased.
Deputies say Dominguez then made his way into the deputy's patrol car and that's when the deputy shot him.
The autopsy showed all shots appeared to have been fired from a distance away.
