The El Paso Independent School District says a prank between two Northeast high schools has gone too far.
EPISD Superintendent Lorenzo Garcia says three Chapin High School students have been suspended after admitting they put laxatives in brownies.
The baked goods were supposed to be delivered last Friday at the Chapin/Andress football game. The brownies were intended for the Andress dancers.
Newschannel 9 spoke to students from both schools about the prank. Students say rumors are floating that the brownies may have contained Clorox or rat poison...
EPISD has sent the brownies to a lab for testing. The results are due back in two weeks.
