EL PASO - The El Paso Rescue Mission is planning a $1.5 million expansion. The shelter, which opened in 1985, houses about 100 people. After the 18,400 square-foot two-story building is constructed, the Rescue Mission hopes to double in capacity. The Rescue Mission is relying on donations to help complete the project.
