I am sure that the Arizona law was passed in part due to financial burden. I am also tired of seeing my property taxes increase incrementally. Instead of the Arizona way, I propose that anyone who uses a service supported by tax payer monies (schools, non-emergency health care, public housing, WIC, prenatal care, etc.)be required to produce proof of citizenship or legal resident status. For example, to enroll a student in EPISD only a utility bill is required! Think of the savings!
