I think that it's great that GEN Pittard made mention that people need to stay out of the ER unless they have a LIFE THREATENING problem. Anything else just clogs the system. I'm wondering if, since he's suggesting the patient/dependent call the chain of command for having to wait too long, does the ER staff get to call the chain of command if the person comes to the ER without a life threating event? The national average wait time for ER's is a bit over 4 hours.
