People who live in the United States have chosen to live here or are born here. The official language in the United States of America has been English for a very very long time. Imigrants, such as myself, for hundreds of years and hundreds of countries around the world have, again, chosen to life here. One can either try to assimilate and embrace the "New World" as it was once known, or move. The US is a tapestry, or "Salad bowl", of many cultures and languages. It's a choice! Speak English!!!
