It was a globetrotting extravaganza tonight at Fort Bliss. The U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy hosted its international military student expo. Sixty students representing nearly 40 countries participated in the program which is designed to allow the students to showcase their country's diversity. One student we spoke with says he's a fan of the Sun City.
"I love it here. I love it here because you have 350 days of sunshine and every morning you are going out of the door, every morning you see the sun and this gives you energy and i like it so much," said Gerhard Lorenz, who represented Germany.
The students arrived in the U.S. June 15th and will spend the year learning about American culture. The group is looking for community sponsors. For more information you can call 744-1046.
