Several 2011 seniors were required to adhere to and complete a "Senior Contract" because of failing grades in a Pre-Cal class. They were required to attend Saturday tutoring sessions plus a certain number of additional tutoring hours; were also made to take and retake tests and quizzes in order fulfill their contracts or face not graduating. Many did but others didn't. Perhaps Burges administration was too focused on cleaning that mess up that they overlooked other important details.
