Why is it that when economic times are rough people are so eager to cut government workers salaries? Its not as if their salaries were increased when the economy was good. They got the same pay when the economy was good and they are getting the same pay now that times are bad. IF you are going to tie their salaries to how well the economy does then give them a raise every time the economy booms then you can cut their pay when the economy goes in the toilet
