I am a property owner, I DON'T have children in school ANYWHERE. We are the ones footing a good portion of the bill. Why not take a portion of the income tax of the parents that do have children in school (some refunds ranging a couple of thousand dollars), that don't pay property tax and apply it to that portion of education expenses. Also how about cutting the high pay saleries of those making this decision in lieu of cutting jobs? Some of these folks make in excess of $150,000.00 p/y.
