It's unfortunate and a tragedy. This could have been prevented. I called the city about the intersection of Lomita and Highland in the LV and they said there has to be a minimum of 3 accidents at that intersection before a sign can be put up but every other street on that side has one. There's an elementary school a few blocks away and kids get picked up at that intersection. People park their cars and it makes it hard to see if there's oncoming traffic. How many have to die before its done?
