Predator Drone Flying Over the Rio Grande
Earlier this month the FAA approved the Predator drone to fly over a portion of West Texas, including El Paso.
Now, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection will be flying the unmanned aircraft over 1,200 miles of the border along the Rio Grande.
The new territory will stretch from El Paso to Brownsville. The plane will be based in Corpus Christi and will be unarmed.
