Police Offer $1K Reward In Finding Burger King Robbers

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Crime Stoppers of Las Cruces is offering a $1,000 for tips that leads to the capture of two men involved in the armed robbery of the Burger King on 430 S. Telshor Blvd. 

Police responded to the armed robbery call around 9:30 p.m. Monday where two men, one of which was armed, walked into the restaurant and demanded money from the employees. The suspects forced employees to hand over and undiscolsed amount of cash. 

Witnesses described both suspects as black men, one who was armed with either a shotgun or rifle. One of the suspects was dressed in a black hoodie, black pants and black mask. The armed suspect was wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and a black mask.

The suspects may have left the restaurant in a newer-model Ford Crown Victoria. A Crown Victoria was seen in the area and heading north on Telshor Boulevard following the robbery.
