EL PASO- The producer who discovered Pitbull is paying a visit to El Paso this coming weekend.

He and three other judges are looking for the next big entertainer right here in the Sun City at the "Revamp Showcase" this weekend. It's a unique opportunity that's giving anyone who has ever dreamed of making it big the chance of a lifetime.

Producer Hugo Diaz, of the Diaz Brothers Music Production team based in Miami, is one of the judges scheduled to take part in the revamp showcase this coming weekend.  "Basically, we are giving unsigned artists the opportunity to showcase their talent," said Unique Management Firm C.E.O Michelle Jackson.

Michelle, also based out of Miami, and her business partner, Marcy Correa, organized the event. They want to give artists in the Sun City an opportunity only large cities normally provide.  "We all come from major cities and so a lot of people are saying we needed something like this to come to El Paso because it's a lot of talent. A lot of talent in El Paso and we've seen it," said Michelle.

Michelle and Marcy will be two of the judges, along with Diaz who has 15 gold records, 5 platinum albums and three Grammy nominations.  "He discovered Pitbull and gave him his first hit and now we all know who Pitbull is," said Marcy.

"He has songs with Daddy Yankee, Lil Jon, Flo Rida, Trina, Lauryn Hill. I mean, he's talented. He goes from Raggaeton, to Hip Hop to R&B so this is a big deal for El Paso," said Michelle.

The fourth judge is Patti Diaz, a DJ from local radio station Power 102. Artists of any genre are able to participate in the Revamp Showcase.  "We are expecting R&B, Hip Hop, ballads. We're going to have a dance group, DEP. They originated from El Paso and they're going to be performing," said Michelle.

Michelle is certain that the next big artist will be in the crowd at the Revamped Showcase.  "El Paso has talent. El Paso has hidden talent. There's not one artist who has made it that has come out of El Paso and we wanna be the company to bring it," said Michelle.

The Revamped Showcase takes place at the Embassy Suites at 6100 Gateway East. The event starts at noon and ends at 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Artists pay a $70 entry fee. You can register online or at the door. If you'd like to attend the event, it's $5. For more information, visit www.uniquemanagementfirm.com.

I offered to help a certain local talent get signed with William Morris Agency & he blew me off he is probably going to be apart of this contest but has only done ballads & Mexican music!!! I wouldn't waste my breathe on this person because he already tossed aside a great opportunity!!!

I hope the Sect auditions! They have some great talent and really deserve a shot at the big time! They are too good for El Paso! Hope to see them there!

Hope to see everyone there! Thank you Oralia.
