Michael Phelps captured one more gold in London as he swam alongside Matt Grevers, Brendan Hansen and Nathan Adrian in the Men's 4x100 medley relay Saturday.

Grevers started the race with backstroke. Breaststroker Brendan Hansen touched the wall as Phelps took off swimming his signature event, the butterfly, in what is expected to be the final race of his historic Olympic career, and he swam out in winning fashion giving the U.S. a lead going into the anchor leg. A perfect ending for the most decorated Olympian of all time.

Nathan Adrian brought it home in the freestyle. They finished with a time of 3:29:35.

"I did it, that's pretty much all I could say. Through the ups and downs through my career, I've still been able to do everything that I've ever wanted to accomplish. And I've been able to do things nobody else has ever done," said Phelps.

"You know I think we're just going to get stronger. I say that because he's leaving but he's still part of the family," said Hansen. "I saw a lot of past Olympians this past week, cheering in the stands and they had a great influence on this team every day as we competed through this whole thing. And I can guarantee Michael's going to be in 2016 in Rio probably watching and doing that for that team."

Phelps racked up 18 gold medals and 22 medals overall.
