Despite a disappointing season ending loss for the Dallas Cowboys Sunday to the Giants that knocked Dallas out of the playoffs, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said first year head coach Jason Garrett will return next season.

"I feel that Jason is our coach and that we can build and do some good things from here. We can take some of the things that we need to do better and we can address them. I've got a lot of confidence in him," Jones said of his head coach.

The Dallas owner also rejected suggestions that he should step aside and hire a General Manager to run the front office.

The Cowboys ended the 2011 season 8-8 losing 4 of their final 5 games while finishing in 3rd place in the NFC East.
