Student Stabbed at Onate High School

LAS CRUCES- A student at Onate High School was flown to UMC in El Paso after being stabbed by another student this afternoon.
At around 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at around the time classes were dismissed for the day, Las Cruces Police learned of an on-campus altercation between at least two Onate students. The altercation resulted in a student being stabbed at least once.
Las Cruces Police have confirmed that they have one student in custody, however no arrests have been made.
The condition of the injured student is not known at this time.
No names have been released.
