El Pasoan Tops Texas Most Wanted Sex Offender List

EL PASO- Police are searching for a Texas Top Ten Most Wanted Sex Offender.
Chavez, 42, has not registered as a sex offender since 2002. Sex offenders are required to register yearly. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office currently has three outstanding warrants for CHAVEZ's arrest, including Probation Violation (Original Offenses: Aggravated Sexual Assault and Indecency with a Child), Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, and DWI.
In 1998, Chavez was arrested when a child accused him of sexual assault over a period of four years, from age 6 to 10. During the subsequent investigation, a second victim was discovered to have been sexually assaulted by Chavez. On September 6, 2001, Chavez was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child.
Chavez is approximately 5’7” and 130 pounds. He also goes by Guillermo Chavez-Gonzalez, Guillermo Gonzalez, and Guillermo Rosales. He is considered armed and dangerous.
