6 Arrested in Far East El Paso Drug Bust

EL PASO COUNTY - El Paso County sheriff's Deputies made a major drug bust at a home on El Paso's far East side.
Strike Team Deputies staked out a home at 12808 Tierra Salas for the past 2 weeks to monitor suspicious activity.
Deputies made the bust on Wednesday after getting a search warrant for the home.
That happened after police pulled over 22-year-old Juan Carlos Silva. They say he had 16 pounds of marijuana on him and more than $2,000 in cash.
Deputies also arrested Jacob Chavez and Charlie Martinez for marijuana possession during separate traffic stops.
Investigators arrested Shem Prieto, Michael Carlos and Daniel Gutierrez who were allegedly renting rooms and dealing drugs from the house.
