Murder
El Paso, Texas:
On Saturday, January 22nd, 2011, about 7:45 P.M., officers responded to a shooting in the 10400 block of Kendall in the northeast. Upon arrival, they found a white Chevrolet Caprice on the sidewalk with its front end against a tree. The driver of the Caprice, 19-year-old Isaiah Luna, had a gunshot wound to his head and was transported to University Medical Center where he died later that night.
The investigation revealed that Luna and a friend were driving around the northeast, visiting friends, when Luna noticed that he was being followed by a small dark blue pickup truck. Luna attempted to flee from the vehicle, however they passed each other on Kendall and the suspects from the pickup truck fired several shots at Luna, fatally wounding him.
