EL PASO, TX - The FBI is releasing very little details into the investigation of a teen shot and killed by an El Paso Border Patrol agent.
That shooting happened eight days ago, and claimed the life of 14-year-old Sergio Adrian Hernandez-Huereca.
U.S. Border Patrol officials say the agents were patrolling the area on bikes when a group, including Hernandez-Huereca, assaulted them with rocks. The FBI says the agent ordered them to stop, but when they didn't, he fired his weapon several times, shooting and killing the teen.
The FBI will not release the name of the Border Patrol agent, or say whether or not he's been involved in any shootings before.
