SwtGzus's comment may have been unintentionally misleading. I state that because at times I'll be doing up to 65 on I-10 and will have to switch over to the left to pass a row of several cars traveling slower, and during that time, some speed demon ends up right on my tail and that can get frustrating. I bet you didn't see it from that angle now, did you? Getting educated also involves thinking outside the box ;) I'm sure SwtGzus is smarter than you think.

2 months agoIt blows my mind how this Gangbanging Delinquent was ONLY given 5 yrs for Murder!! WHAT!!!!! He killed someone and thats all?! My brother was given 23 yrs for stealing cigarettes and has been in prison for thta last 16 years... and this punk is only going to serve 3 yrs and walk?! The real problem lies with the inconsistency of the jury and court judge! Cmon, he killed someone, it was NO self defense involved, he killed him in cold blood!! Rediculous......

4 months agoI think it is very unfair how the V.A. treats the vets. The men and women that are in active duty get treated with better services then so with one who are retired.It seems like the vets services are being slowly forgotten. The vets have done as much if not more service then ones who are in actived duty. So I think the vets should be treated with more respect and more services. SO REMEMBER our vets,not forgoton. Cause freedom is not free.

4 months agoo.k.!! its the weekend! its your birthday, time to party! yay!!! lets have fun!!! WRONG!!!
this is what not only does it bug me but i am pretty sure i speak for every working neighbor that does have to go to work very early the next weekend morning! the loud music, the loud laughs, the party starts at 8p.m and goes on till 3 or 4a.m. a few minutes after that the party, music and the laughs stop, our alarms go off and guess what? we dint have a minute of sleep because your party was going on while we were suppose to be asleep and resting to wake up the next weekend morning to go to WORK!!!!! now we are not saying not to have parties not to celebrate your what ever occasion for the party is! just keep it down, take it inside, start it early or end it early! this way you have your music, laughs and party yay!!!!!! and we get to sleep, rest and wake up to go to work the next weekend morning. yay!!!!! hey we all win and end up having a nice neighborly weekend! RIGHT!!!!! Yay!!!!

5 months agoIsn't there a city ordinance about noise? I have lived in so many different parts of town and have always run into this same problem. It's so inconsiderate! Fine, have your party, but booming your stereo bass until 3 or 4 a.m. is ridiculous!!! If that noise is shaking my walls how are you even able to hear each other talking?
When I lived in the Northeast I had to call the police over and over on a neighbor who would do exactly that. Not only would it take the police over 2 hours to show up (by the way, that's the only side of town where it takes them that long to respond) but they never seemed very interested in doing anything about it even though there were repeated complaints.
I thought the noise ordinance was from 8 a.m to 1 a.m
I guess I must be wrong about that.
I've been living on the West side for the last few years and despite all the teenagers in my neighborhood it's the quietest part of town I've lived in here in El Paso.

4 months agoit seems to me all the lawyers in town don't care about people with disabilities,cause I am one of them. The EEOC did it's job according to the letter of the law and gave me a piece of paper that is worthless. They investigated and found cause but that only proves the law was not followed and Homeward (detox) will continue to recieve grant money from the state and the federal gov. and swear to follow the law, only when it's convenient as long as they get the funding. I don't Homward, they need their jobs even if they have to lose their ethics to pay their rent. It's the rest of us that lose amended or not.
