NM Amber Alert For Jessica Smith Canceled, Child May Still Be In Danger

SANTA FE, N.M. — In coordination with the Fort Worth Texas Police Department, New Mexico State Police is cancelling the Amber Alert in New Mexico. This coordinated decision is based on the fact that there is no updated information that the child may be in New Mexico at this time.

However, the child is still missing and considered in danger. Coordinated law enforcement efforts will continue until the child is located. Police continue to solicit the public’s assistance in locating the child.

Law enforcement is looking for an 11 year old white female named Jessica Smith. Jessica is 5’01 approximately 120 pounds with brown eyes and straight brown hair just passed her shoulders in length. Jessica was not wearing glasses at the time of her abduction.

Jessica was taken by her mother Kimberly Smith, a white female. Kimberly’s date of birth is 11-17-1969. Kimberly is 5’02 approximately 150 pounds with
