EL PASO - Two men were in for a big surprise.

El Paso Police say they watched as Juan Gomez, 30, and Alfredo Becerra, 27, scoped out vehicles that were parked in 100 block of Airway. Officers say they noticed the dome lights of a parked truck turn on, and shortly afterwards the men drove off. Officers checked out the truck and found that it had been ransacked by the men.

The men probably thought they got away scot-free, but to their surprise officers had been watching their every move. Police tracked them down a couple blocks away and arrested them. T

Gomez and Becerra are charged with Burglary of Vehicle.

As a side note, police say the owner of the truck didn’t lock his doors, and they say that's something you should always do.

And this ladies and gentlemen is why the El Paso Times has helped to keep the area of El Paso's reading level as low as possible. How many grammatical errors were in this piece? ONE too many for a "professional" news organization. As a side note, proof-reading is something "you should always do."
