EL PASO — One woman was taken to the hospital after an alleged drunk driver going the wrong way on I-10 slammed into her vehicle. 

According to El Paso Police, the driver of an SUV was traveling east in the the westbound lanes of I-10 near Cotton at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, when the SUV sideswiped a pickup truck.

The woman in the pickup was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the SUV was arrested on suspicion of DWI.
