Woman Stabbed in the Stomach, Alleged Attacker on the Loose

A woman was taken to the hospital following an early morning stabbing in Northeast El Paso.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday at a home on Harrison St.

The victim called police from a nearby 7-11 Store on Dyer St. to report that a man stabbed her in the stomach.

Police are searching for an African-American man who is reportedly driving a small, gold car.

The relationship between the man and the woman is unknown.  Police have not released the motive for the attack.
