El Paso County Sheriff's Deputies say a violent attack in sparks sent one woman to the hospital after she was stabbed in the head.
Deputies were called out to the Flying J Truck Stop in far East El Paso just before three this morning.
There they found a 43 year old woman, bleeding.
She told deputies she was attacked outside of a nearby home, by another woman, who used a sharp object to slice at her head and face.
The woman walked to the truck stop for help, but at first wasn't able to give authorities many details about where the attack happened or why she was in the area.
She was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The investigation continues.
