NORTHEAST EL PASO — A woman was killed in Ruidoso, New Mexico this past weekend when a golf cart flipped on top of her, according to Ruidoso Police. 

The driver of the cart was a five-year-old boy.

The incident happened Saturday in the Alto Lake golf and country club community. Authorities say 34-year-old Jennifer Rowin was in the golf cart with three kids when it flipped on a hill. Rowin and a 10-month-old child were pinned underneath.

The Lubbock, Texas woman died Sunday at an El Paso hospital. Two of the three kids also suffered minor injuries.
