A 29-year old woman was killed when she crashed into another car head on Lust before 9:00 last night. The accident happened on Socorro Road near La Morenita.
We're told the victim had bought a pack of cigarettes from a nearby 7-Eleven when she entered oncoming traffic with no headlights.
Investigators say two cars swerved to avoid her but the third car hit her head on.
Emergency units took her to University Medical Center where she died a short time later. The two people who were in the car that she hit were taken to Del Sol with minor injuries.
Police tell us they don't expect to press any charges against those two people.
Speed does not appear to have played a role in the accident but investigators haven't determined if alcohol was a factor.
Police are expected to release the name of the victim later today.
