Woman Dies From Car Accident

EL PASO -- A woman died from a car crash in the Lower Valley this morning. It happened around 8 a.m. on North Americas and Alameda.

El Paso police confirmed that a 69-year-old man, driving a truck, did not stop on a red light. He hit another truck with three people inside. The woman, who had been sitting in the back seat unbuckled, was ejected from the truck. She died on the scene.

The 69-year-old driver is being hospitalized for non-serious injuries. Police have not released the age or name of the victim. Stay tuned for more updates.
