EPCSO identifies woman killed in east El Paso motorcycle crash
EAST EL PASO — El Paso Sheriff's Officials have identified the woman who was killed in a motorcycle crash on El Paso's east side early Sunday morning as 22-year-old Stephanie Moreno.
EPCSO says that Moreno was riding a 2013 Honda CBR Sport Motorcycle west on Montana near the intersection of Lee Blvd. around 5:20 a.m. She was riding a Jeep driven by an unidentified 37-year-old man. For an unknown reason, Moreno failed to break and ran into the back of the Jeep. The impact caused Moreno to be thrown from the motorcycle.
Moreno was taken to Del Sol Medical Center where she died from injuries sustained in the crash.
EPCSO says that they are still investigating the incident and there are no charges pending in the case. This is the 22nd traffic death of 2014.
