Wailing on the family prevents nothing either. A child is lost through an "Accident". The child was not abused nor mistreated. All it took was a second or two of unattention caused the death and possible destruction of a whole family. Is this really the time to criticise the unfortunate family? Guess no one is perfect.

THIS BABY WOULD HAVE BEEN ALIVE AND WELL IF HE WOULD HAVE HAD A RESPONSIBLE MOTHER N FATHER WHO WOULD WATCH HIM ALL THE TIME. THIS IS NOT THE DRIVERS FAULT , OR THE BABY S FAULT EITHER. IT IS ALL THE MOM N DADS FAULT FOR NOT BEING A REAL PARENT AND HOLDING THE BABY'S HAND ALL THE TIME, SHAME ON THE SO CALLED MOM WHO BROUGHT THIS BABY ON TO EARTH AND COULDNT TAKE CARE OF IT, LARRY

Yes that's true where were his parents? I don't care if your child is 2 or 10 you have to keep an eye on them all the time no matter what.

I feel for the family...but yes, what was the child doing up so late and unattended at that? It can't be undone but it could have been prevented. RIP li'l one; you're in God's Kingdom now.

Also raises eyebrows that the incident took place at 10pm. What was the child doing unattended that late at night?

It was not at 10 pm this accident happened at 7:30!

It is so careless to do something like this. What is a 2 year old doing on the floor by a SUV? A child should never be left alone. It seems accidents keep happening and parents STILL seem to be very careless, they are your children be a parent!

This story is all too familiar and I feel for the families stuck by tragedies as these I really do. I hear stories all the time of toddlers being run over or drowing in pools here in EP. My question is, where are the parents? Everytime I read a story like this I can't help but shake my head and think how this tragedy could have been avoided simply by keeping a watchful eye on the child. I am a father of a four year old and NEVER take my eye off of him. To all parents: keep an eye on your child!

MR RICKY : U ARE EXACTLY RIGHT , WHERE WAS THE MOM OR DAD AT THIS TIME? EVERY TIME THIS HAPPENS, THE BLAME FALLS ON THE KID OR THE PERSON WHO DROVE OVER THE KID, WHEN IN FACT IT IS TOTALLY THE PARENTS RESPONSIBILITY ,SO SAD THAT A CARELESS MOM COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS EVENT . LARRY
