El Paso Sheriffs' Deputies arrested the passenger of a vehicle after a routine traffic stop on Wednesday Morning after she used false identification.

Deputies pulled over the Mazda Protégé Wednesday morning at the intersection of Bret Harte Dr. and Peyton Rd. and determined the driver of the vehicle had two traffic warrants and was the respondent in a protective order. In order to determine if the passenger was the protected party in the court order, deputies asked the passenger to identify herself.

The passenger initially identified herself using her twin sister's information, and returned as the protected party. The deputy continued the investigation and determined that the passenger had used false information, and was not the protected party.

The passenger, eventually identified as Yahira Yurid Garcia, 18,  was placed under arrest for Failure to Identify and was subsequently booked into the El Paso Detention Facility on a $300 bond.
