Customs and Border Patrol agents at the Fabens port of entry say they have seized nearly five pounds of marijuana from a mother and her twelve year-old daughter.
Three bundles of pot were reportedly found in the mother's purse.
Officers searching the twelve year-old's purse allegedly found an additional two bundles of pot.
The mother was turned over to the El Paso County Sheriff's Department.
The 12 year-old girl was released to a family member.
