Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department investigators are hoping to locate witnesses who could lead them to two men suspected of carrying out a Wednesday night robbery in Anthony.

According to the report, two male suspects entered the S & B Grocery on Church Street. One suspect reportedly brandished a long rifle or shotgun, pointed it at the cashier and told her not to move while the other suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. Both suspects fled on foot.

The cashier described one man as tall and thin, with medium brown skin and large, dark eyes. The other man is said to be slightly shorter, with lighter skin and a shaved head. The second suspect was said to be wearing a white t-shirt. She said both men were wearing bandanas over their faces.
