EL PASO - We're learning more about the man accused of pushing his wife off an I-10 bridge over the weekend.

The suspect is Guntemberg Najar; he's been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and family violence. Najar allegedly pushed his wife, Rocio Herrera, off a guardrail.

According to documents obtained by Newschannel 9, a witness says Najar kept dropping his wife on the pavement, to the point where you could hear her head hitting the asphalt hard.

Najar's wife, Rocio Herrera, was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
