As a winter storm slammed into the Borderland Monday, UTEP administrators decided to send students home early.

The campused closed down around 2:30 in the afternoon, while El Paso's three major school districts decided to send students home at the regular time.

Administrators from EPISD, YISD and SISD plan to monitor weather conditions overnight and announce any delays or closures early Tuesday morning.

UTEP leaders say the university is on a regular schedule tomorrow, but that could change depending on the weather.
