Wilson will request permission for workforce job from council Tuesday
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Former El Paso city manager Joyce Wilson will be standing up before city council Tuesday.
She has to ask permission to take the job as the chief executive office of Workforce Solutions Upper Rio Grande.
Current CEO Lorenzo Reyes Jr.'s last day at the workforce agency was Friday.
He and his COO Teofilo Ugalde resigned last week, but no explanation was given as to their departure.
The board of directors voted earlier this week to offer the job to Wilson.
Wilson will have her city employment contract amended to make her a consultant, so she can take the workforce job.
