UPDATED: Wednesday, February 17, 2010 - 3:24pm

Local health inspectors are taking action after the first signs of the West Nile Virus in El Paso this year. A mosquito in west El Paso tested positive for West Nile.
Inspectors immediately treated the area where that mosquito was found.
Last year, more than a dozen cases of West Nile turned up in the Sun City, mostly in central El Paso and the lower valley.
The virus caused no deaths.
