EL PASO - The drought is severely affecting our water supply here in El Paso.

This year we have dramatically less river water than years past.

In an effort to conserve water, El Paso Water Utilities hosts a free workshop to teach consumers how to use less water.

Two-thirds of the water consumed by El Pasoans is used indoors.

EPWU is encouraging everyone to remember less it the new more.

People who participated in the workshop today got less is the new more t-shirts, bumper stickers and cell phone pouches.

some public entities are using water extravagantly--for example the texas highway depart on loop 375 next to pellicano iswaters a huge expanse of grass --how about xeriscaping---the old socorro isd building on eastlake waters a huge expanse of grass on consecutive days and the water flows into the street(eastlake}; how about getting rid of the grass and planting cacti--these people live in the dark or what --don't they read the papers or watch tv--irresponsible !!!!!
