Wanted Man Flees in Stolen Car After Allegedly Biting, Kicking Girlfriend

Doña Ana County Sheriff’s deputies are in search of a man who allegedly kicked, bit and attempted to smother his girlfriend in April. Miguel Loya, 22, was reported to have fleed from the home driving a 1995 Oldmobile sedan that belonged to the girlfriend's daughter.

Loya has not been seen since the date of the incident. He is described as five feet, seven inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. 

Loya faces charges of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, battery against a household member and interference with communications.
