Viva awards $3,700 to Child Crisis Center

The Viva Auto Group presented a $3,700 check to the Child Crisis Center Thursday, after the group teamed up with local media to raffle prizes with the public.

" We are very proud to be able to give back to the community, especially to have teamed up with such a worthwhile cause as is the Child Crisis Center. Children are our future, and we have to invest in their well-being." said Jimmy Dick, owner of the Viva Auto Group.

The Child Crisis Center of El Paso is El Paso's Child Abuse Prevention Agency and operates a 31- bed Emergency Shelter for children ages newborn through 13 years of age. Children are admitted because they are abused and/or neglected are at risk of abuse and neglect or are suffering from a family crisis. The Center provides case management to help keep families together and to provide resources to parents to help them become stronger, more nurturing caregivers of their children.
