The victim of a barbaric cannibal attack last Memorial Day weekend is speaking out about his remarkable recovery.

Ronald Poppo spends his days learning to play the guitar, but he's also learning to walk and get around as a blind man. Poppo was attacked by Rudy Eugene on Macarthur Causeway in Florida nearly a year ago. Eugene was shot and killed by police while eating Poppo's face. Poppo has endured four surgeries, skin grafts, and even had one eye covered by skin from his forehead.

Doctors say he's not pursuing cosmetic procedures at this time.

His caretaker says he holds no grudges against Eugene.
