UTEP Movies on the Lawn

EL PASO - UTEP is kicking off its free summer "Movies on the Lawn" series.

Tonight, they'll be screening Disney's the Lion King starting at 8:30 p.m. on the lawn in front of the Geological Sciences Building.

It is free and open to the public.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Films will be displayed on a giant inflatable 16-foot by 9-foot screen for the next 8 weeks.

You don't even have to worry about parking. It'll be free in the Sun Bowl parking garage after 7 p.m. on movie nights.
