EL PASO - The University of Texas at El Paso's School of Nursing is hosting a conference for academics and practitioners in the borderland.

It will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Health Sciences and Nursing Building in room 217.

“Our regional conference will bring together innovative ideas from academic institutions and our local community agencies, and give everyone a chance to create new connections and partnerships,” said Diane Monsivais, Ph.D., assistant professor at the School of Nursing.

Among their presentations: "Cultural Clues: Cornerstone of Client-Centered Care," and "Horizontal Violence in the Workplace."
