This year's big Hyundai Sun Bowl game is now less than a month away, and today the coach of USC was in town, apologizing to El Paso residents.

Earlier this week, backup linebacker Tony Burnett made several unflattering comments about El Paso on Twitter. Among them, a statement which read, "I've been to El Paso no one wants to be there New Year's Eve."

The coach's of both USC and Georgia Tech were in town Thursday, and Lane Kiffin began his remarks by apologizing on behalf of the university.

"One of our 120 players put something on Twitter that is not representative of how we feel. That's been addressed since and I would like to, myself, apologize to everybody down here."

The big game will be played the afternoon of New Year's Eve.
